RGBO #53 goes into effect.

Rent Guidelines Board Order #53 goes into effect today. The RGBO applies to renewal leases
for rent-stabilized apartments, beginning anytime on or after Oct. 1, 2021, through Sept. 30,
2022. You can take 0 percent on a one-year lease for the first six months; 1.5 percent for the
last six months; and 2.5 percent for two-year leases.
