Rent Guidelines Board Order #52 goes into effect today. The RGBO applies to renewal leases for rent-stabilized apartments, beginning anytime on or after Oct. 1, 2020, through Sept. 30, 2021. You can take 0 percent on a one-year lease; 0 percent on the first year of a two-year lease; and 1 percent for the second year of a two-year lease.
