Rent Guidelines Board Order #50 goes into effect today. You can start collecting the rent increase permitted by RGBO #50 for leases that start on or after Oct. 1, 2018, through Sept. 30, 2019. (See “Take 1.5% and 2.5% Rent Increases for Renewal Leases,” ALI, August 2018, p. 6.)
